A formulation for maintaining physiological resilience during conditions of sustained physical activity can include a carbohydrate blend, a fatty-acid blend, and an amino-acid blend in a powder form that immediately dissolves in fluid water. The carbohydrate blend can include simple and complex carbohydrates providing less than 70% of total calories of a complete meal in a complete meal-equivalent (“CME”) dose of the formulation.
