A system and method of a semi-autonomous cleaning apparatus with adjustable cleaning parameters. A floor cleaning system of a semi-autonomous cleaning apparatus adapts the cleaning parameters by way of one or more control systems in order to optimize cleaning performance in the specific context and application of operation.
