A pedicle screw assembly that includes at least one head fixation assembly having an upper body and a lower body with an opening in a bottom portion of the lower body, at least one bone screw positioned between the upper body and the lower body of the head fixation assembly and extends outward from the opening in the bottom portion of the lower body, at least one lateral interconnecting member to stabilize at least one bone in a patient, wherein the at least one head fixation assembly is transversely attached to the at least one lateral interconnecting member; and a securing mechanism to lock …
