Abstract
The present invention provides methods of distributing agents into bone and the maintenance of those agents within bone. These methods include mechanical, rheological, pharmacological, and other methods. By maintaining injectates within a targeted location in bone and increasing their distribution in bone, the methods are useful for purposes including but not limited to increasing local concentration, improving therapeutic effectiveness, increasing duration of action, and decreasing systemic toxicity.…
