Abstract
A rotation system for a sorting system for at least partially rotating a packaged item, having a roller conveyor for the deposition of the packaged item and a conveyor belt, adjoining the roller conveyor, for transporting the packaged item along a rotation unit is disclosed. The rotation system includes a measuring system, which includes a light curtain and is configured to determine a length and a width of the packaged item, that is arranged on the conveyor belt ahead of the rotation unit.…
