Abstract
A thick hair elastic includes a band that comprises a continuous loop. The band may be formed from a yarn that has been woven into the continuous loop or fibers that have been woven into the continuous loop. Opposite edges of the band may be rolled inwardly around a circumference of the band. A central opening of the thick hair elastic, which is defined by and extends through the band, may have a size sufficient to enable it to be worn around an individual's wrist, like a bracelet. Methods of manufacturing and using thick hair elastics are also disclosed.
