Supported offices
DownloadPatent supports patent numbers from the United States, China, Japan, Korea, Europe (EP), WIPO (WO) and Taiwan. It covers patent publications and some application numbers; the exact document kinds depend on the office and source. Sources include official patent databases such as USPTO, EPO (Espacenet) and TIPO GPSS. Office Action citation downloads support Office Actions from the US, CN, TW, JP, EP and KR.
Outputs and their limits
Download available original patent PDFs and English family publications. Google machine translations are external links only: open them on Google Patents; they cannot be selected or included in a download. DownloadPatent does not generate or download rebuilt text PDFs or DOCX files.
The examples on the coverage page show accepted number formats; they do not confirm that a publication exists. Treat an unavailable or unsupported item as something to check by hand.
